mom's potato salad

8 medium potatoes. peeled, boiled until and cubed
8 hard cooked eggs. sliced
1 small finely chopped onion
mayo or miracle whip to coat, 3/4 cup to 1 cup approx.
yellow mustard about 2 Tbs or to taste
sweet or dill relish 1/3 cup or to taste
salt and pepper to taste
optional: spicy all season (Shilling brand) to taste
