white mountain frosting

white mountain frosting

1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 Tbs. water
3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in a medium saucepan. Boil until it syrup spins an eight inch thread (about 242 to 250). Meanwhile, in an electric mixer, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.

When syrup is ready, pour in a slow steady stream into egg whites with mixer running. Beat until frosting is thick and glossy and holds its shape, about 7 minutes. Mix in vanilla.

Use immediately, frosting will only last one day.
As you can see, rabbits and kids both love it!
