Poncho fever
I finished 3 ponchos this weekend. One for my cousin Leann, that I failed to take a pic of before I packaged it up. (She promised to take some pictures for me when she gets it though.) It’s the stitch diva poncho. I made it out of Berroco suede in black.
I also made these little ponchos. My original goal was to make Eden a poncho, but I didn’t have a pattern. So I tried to adapt the stitch diva pattern to work. The first one turned into an itty bitty baby poncho, that I gave to Jennifer’s sister, who just had a little girl (with more hair than Eden, by the way!).

And here is my second try, I should have cast on fewer stitches, but I got it to work.
It will take some doing to convince Eden that she is at the height of fashion when she is wearing her poncho, as you can see, by the thrilled expression on her face, she’s not the biggest fan.

LOL! What a sweetie pie she is! That look on her face just cracks me up. Great job on the poncho, it looks just beautiful – I love the colors you used. I wish I could knit (I tried, but to no avail)… it makes garments look so much prettier than they do in crochet. :)

OMG Allison! I just made my very first set of slippers out of that exact same yarn, LOL!
The poncho’s are bee-uuu-tee-ful! You knitted THREE in a weekend? WOW!
Eden has the same scowl as my 3 yr old – too funny!

I LOVE the baby ponchos! Beautiful. Eden looks very cute with the look of typical three-year-old disdain. It makes me laugh.

Eden looks thrilled… great job on the different sized poncho though. I was looking foward to seeing the stitch diva poncho, I hope she sends a picture!

i *luv* *luv* *luv* the look on eden’s face. hopefully she is adapting to that beautiful poncho you made. girl, i only wish i had half of your knitting skills ;)
