Tofu and ponchos

Last night I made curried tofu with green beans. I wasn’t too thrilled with the combined taste of green beans, tomatoes, tofu and curry. But I do love me some tofu.

It was looking so yummy sitting on the plate that I had to take a picture.

But even better than tofu is that I’m almost done with my Frida poncho.

Frida poncho almost finished

You can see that the second panel is almost finished. Each panel will be 30 inches long, so I’ve only got a couple inches to go. Hopefully I will have a chance to finish it tonight. I’m hoping to have it finished in time for Friday night. We’re going to a benefit and silent aution at a dinner theater.

I found a pretty cool knitting blog today, I’m probably the only one in the world who hasn’t seen this site…
fluffa!
check it out.

You’re not the only one who hasn’t seen it – neither have I! Thanks for sharing. :)

Yay, you got steak soup up there!

Thank you for the kind words you left on my site and for the mention. Your Frida poncho is beautiful. The leaf pattern in that color really pops.

(I was chuckling over your left sidebar. I have a young son and BOY does it bring back the memories!)

I’ve added your blog to my sites to check regularly, so you’ll probably get lots of comments from me. The Frida poncho is actually the piece that inspired me to start knitting, yet I’ve never made it! May I ask what yarn you used? It’s really beautiful!

Great poncho! I wonder if the pattern would work for a wrap/shawl, too?

Where did you find it? Seems like I’ve seen it around, too. I’ll try googling it.

The poncho looks beautiful! I’m not so sure about the tofu though – I’m a chicken and have enevr tried the stuff. Maybe someday… :-/

Well I have to say I’m so glad to finally get this curry recipe – I love curry and my mouth waters everytime you say you’ll be making it!
