Tofu and ponchos

Last night I made curried tofu with green beans. I wasn’t too thrilled with the combined taste of green beans, tomatoes, tofu and curry. But I do love me some tofu.

It was looking so yummy sitting on the plate that I had to take a picture.

But even better than tofu is that I’m almost done with my Frida poncho.

You can see that the second panel is almost finished. Each panel will be 30 inches long, so I’ve only got a couple inches to go. Hopefully I will have a chance to finish it tonight. I’m hoping to have it finished in time for Friday night. We’re going to a benefit and silent aution at a dinner theater.

I found a pretty cool knitting blog today, I’m probably the only one in the world who hasn’t seen this site…

    I’ve added your blog to my sites to check regularly, so you’ll probably get lots of comments from me. The Frida poncho is actually the piece that inspired me to start knitting, yet I’ve never made it! May I ask what yarn you used? It’s really beautiful!

    Great poncho! I wonder if the pattern would work for a wrap/shawl, too?

    Where did you find it? Seems like I’ve seen it around, too. I’ll try googling it.

    The poncho looks beautiful! I’m not so sure about the tofu though – I’m a chicken and have enevr tried the stuff. Maybe someday… :-/
