I just got this email from Joelene
“Allison, I just got my scarf squares. Which I am planning to sew up into something fun. And I amost died of laughter, seriously, I almost peed my pants right there in the living room. When I took out my squares out fell some KIX! You freakin crack me up. Poor Vito was looking at me like, what the heck is wrong. Anyway thanks for the laugh, if it was intentional or not, it made my day.”(It was not intentional, that’s just how my life is, Kix everywhere.)

That TOTALLY CRACKED ME UP!
Again, not much different from having pre-adolescents around except with me it’s corn pops (and we don’t even allow sugar cereal). I was going to make the Spicy Pulled Pork tonight, but crap! forgot to buy pork, so leftovers it is.

I just got my squares in the mail, too! Sadly, no kix for me, either. I would have eaten it, too.
I think I’m going to make a bag from my squares. I just finished knitting one pair of soakers for Thomas and now it’s a toss up as to whether I should finish knitting the soakers I bought yarn for or crochet my squares into a bag. So many projects, so little time.

Sarah E., what are soakers? I don’t think I’ve heard that term before.

Soakers are knitted wool shorts that are worn over cloth diapers. They provide a water-resistant cover for the diapers so that clothes stay dry when diapers are wet.
I like them bacause they are soft, breathable and stretchy. Here’s a link with some pictures:
