apples and yarn

Well, the trip was a success. We were SO busy! It seems like we were gone two weeks, not two days. I’ll have lots of pictures in the next few days, but first the most important.

Us at the Apple store. Photo taken on a Macbook pro with photobooth.

And my yarn scores.

yarn scores from Denver

See that, right there on the left? That’s Koigu, the best sock yarn EVAR!!! I think the store owner laughed at me when I saw it, because I let out a little squeak. On the right of that is Louet gems sock yarn and on the far right is Rowan Linen print and felted tweed. I needed one more ball of the linen print for a shawl I want to make, and the felted tweed is just backup incase I run out.

I also bought a book I’ve been wanting, Knitting For Two. It is the book that has this extremely cute baby sweater in it that I must knit, like, yesterday.

There’s some pretty exciting things going on around here, so my brain is a little scattered. I hope to be able to let you all in on it soon, but in the meantime, I’ll leave you in great SUSPENSE!

I’m so mean.

OK. Since you’re keeping us in suspense, I’ll make some random guesses.

    1. You are adopting a gaggle of geese.
    2. You have been named Knitting Queen of the Mid-West and are inviting all of us to your crowning ceremony.
    3. PBS has found out how cute Eden and Honor are and want them to star in their very own make-the-mess-you-so-desire show.
    4. Jim has invented a new spyware he calls “Fly on the Wall” which he secretly installed at the White House and found out who was the other shooter on the grassy knoll.

I could make up more of these, as I have the imagination of a child but I ought to go to bed. Enjoy your secret!
